An attack by terrorists on Wednesday night against police and people in Izeh, Khuzestan Province, claimed the lives of at least five people and left six others injured.
Citing an informed security source, Fars news agency reported that unidentified assailants opened fire on people and security forces in the central bazaar of the city using AK47 rifles.
Reports suggest that terrorists were riding two motorcycles.
According to initial reports, victims include a child and an old woman.
