Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says the progress, prosperity, independence and development of Iraq is “of high importance” to Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with President Abdul Latif Rashid of Iraq in Tehran on Saturday. Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi was also present in the meeting.
“Expansion of bilateral cooperation and implementation of agreements are beneficial to the two countries,” the Leader stated.
