Golf legend Tiger Woods’s ex-girlfriend Erica Herman filed an official notice to reject her appeal against the star golfer in an attempt to revoke a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) she signed in 2017 at the beginning of their relationship, as per recent court records from Florida’s Fourth District Court of Appeal.

Woods’ ex-girlfriend filed the appeal after a court determined in May that Herman could not be freed from her NDA.

The Speak Out Act, which permits an exception to NDAs for victims of sexual assault, was mentioned in Herman’s original case.

Herman now asserts, nevertheless, that she never charged 38-year-old Woods with any sexual assault. Herman claimed she “was never a victim of sexual harassment or sexual abuse at the hands of Tiger Woods or any of his agents and it is her position that she never asserted a claim for such” in her latest declaration, which was filed on Friday.

On Tuesday, the court issued a judgement dismissing the appeal.

A Woods spokesperson has been contacted by People seeking comment.

Herman first filed a complaint in December, alleging that Woods forced her to leave his home before the conditions of their “oral agreement,” which allowed her to stay there for a further five years, expired and that she is due $30 million.

She also submitted a second complaint on March 6 asking to be released from her non-disclosure agreement, citing a statute that permits NDAs to be revoked in situations involving sexual assault.

Woods and Herman “had a long relationship” that was both personal and professional, according to Herman’s original complaint.

According to the lawsuit, Herman said she was “currently unsure what other information about her own life she may discuss or with whom.”

Woods’s legal team refuted Herman’s assertions in a document, stating, “Ms. Herman’s position is utterly meritless.” The goal of the federal legislation and the people it is intended to protect are undermined by this blatant exploitation of the legal system.”
