Australian bowler Pat Cummins showed his magic, grabbing five wickets as Pakistan finished their batting at 264 runs on the third day of the second Test match in Melbourne.

This puts them 54 runs behind Australia.

On Thursday, Pakistan started their batting at 194-6 after losing five players for just 70 runs in the last part of Wednesday’s play. There was a slight delay due to light rain, pushing the start by 45 minutes.

Mohammad Rizwan was at the crease at 29 runs, and Jamal joined him at two runs when the game resumed. Rizwan left after scoring 42, while Jamal contributed a solid unbeaten 33 to the team’s total.

Cummins showcased an outstanding performance, taking 5 wickets for 48 runs. Nathan Lyon also bowled well, finishing with 4 wickets for 73 runs.

It’s worth noting that Pakistan haven’t won a Test series in Australia and haven’t secured a Test victory in the country since 1995.
