The newly appointed leader of Hezbollah says the Lebanese Resistance movement is determined to force Israel to seek an end to its war on Lebanon.

In his second public address since assuming leadership, Sheikh Naim Qassem said Hezbollah does not rely on political efforts to halt the conflict.

Instead, he said, Hezbollah is prepared to shape the outcome through military engagement.

Qassem also stated that Hezbollah has been preparing for such confrontations since the 2006 July war, enhancing their training, armament, and operational capabilities.

Qassem said the steps taken by Israel aimed at defeating Hezbollah and occupying Lebanon will not succeed due to Hezbollah’s resilience and commitment to defending homeland.
