The Israeli regime has killed more than 100 people in brutal acts of aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip and Lebanon over the past 24 hours as the occupying entity’s campaign of carnage and bloodshed continues unabated.

Palestine’s official WAFA news agency said on Sunday that at least 33 civilians, including 13 children, were killed in an early morning Israeli airstrike on Jabalia, northern Gaza.

“Israeli warplanes bombed a house belonging to the Alloush family in Jabalia’s central neighborhood, where many residents and displaced families had taken refuge. The bombing completely destroyed the building, leaving rubble and devastation in its wake,” the news agency reported.

According to WAFA, the rescue teams managed to recover 33 bodies, including the 13 children, and a significant number of people have been injured, some seriously.

It added that the injured were transferred to the nearby al-Ahli Baptist Hospital for medical care.

“Many more are still believed to be trapped under the debris, and efforts to locate survivors continue as the search-and-rescue operations remain ongoing,” the report said.

The fatalities occurred only hours after Israeli forces killed at least 44 people in northern Gaza and 31 people in southern Lebanon, including six Lebanese rescue workers and three Palestinian abductees moments after their release.

The Israeli attack had targeted a house on Old Gaza Street in northern Jabalia, which is among three towns in the north that have been under the regime’s siege for more than a month.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the deadly Israeli strikes had hit the Tyre district of southern Lebanon and the Baalbek region of eastern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA).

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October last year has so far resulted in at least 43,552 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 102,765 others injured, while thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble.

Israel’s merciless attacks continue despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah opened a support front for Palestinians in Gaza only a day after the Israeli regime unleashed its genocidal war against the besieged territory.

The Israeli regime in September intensified its aggression against Hezbollah, resulting in significant loss of life and destruction, killing upwards of 3,000 people over the past year.

In late September, the regime also assassinated Hezbollah’s leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in a strike in southern Beirut.

Since then, Hezbollah has increased its retaliatory attacks against Israeli targets and vowed to continue its fight in support of Gaza and Palestine, and in defense of Lebanon.
