In April 2024, the Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy-China 2024 launched a global recruitment campaign, attracting talented young musicians to participate. After six months of rigorous selection, 15 young conductors and seven young singers were selected. In November, they gathered in Suzhou, China, for 10 days of training with Riccardo Muti, ending with a graduation concert. Produced by Suzhou Broadcasting Station Group, this video captures their journey. Muti, one of the world’s preeminent conductors, has led the Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert six times.
