As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome a new year, CGTN is launching a new campaign called “1,001 Wishes for 2025,” giving you the chance to share your wishes, hopes and New Year’s resolutions with the world.
This year saw drastic changes in Syria after rebels mounted an offensive in late November aimed at capturing Damascus. They entered the Syrian capital on December 8 and ousted President Bashar al-Assad. With 2025 just around the corner, a Syrian resident from Aleppo says that he hopes he can take better care of his children and family to make their lives better. He also wishes for peace for all people, not only in Syria but around the world.
