Encouraging them to stay active and enjoy outdoor activities, Xi joined the children in this hands-on lesson on ecological conservation. This marks the 13th consecutive year he has participated in the spring tree planting initiative as president, calling for a nationwide effort to build a greener and more beautiful China.
