The seventh China International Import Expo, or CIIE, the world’s largest import fair, wrapped up in Shanghai on Sunday, with deals made valued at over $80 billion, up 2 percent from the previous year. Exhibitors from around the world put up their products and ideas, including participants from Latin America and Australia, at the expo. Notably, Australia is a key member of APEC, while Latin America takes the spotlight as the host region of APEC 2024. CGTN’s Tian Wei had the chance to speak with exhibitors from Australia, Colombia and China, gaining firsthand their insights on world trade, market trends and the ways they leveraged the expo to connect with partners and consumers.
