China and Malaysia have long shared strong economic ties. Trade, transportation and infrastructure are all parts of this big story. Over the decade, Malaysia has been a key partner with China in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Its East Coast Rail Link is a flagship BRI project that has the potential of not only serving Malaysia but as an important connector to link the region closer. So, for her first stop in Malaysia, CGTN’s Tian Wei paid a visit to the office of Malaysian Minister of Transport Anthony Loke Siew Fook. He shared fresh information about the rail link and the significance of infrastructure cooperation between China and Malaysia.
