Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Monday urged Japan to “earnestly honor its words and commitments of facing squarely and reflecting on the history of aggression, make a clean break with militarism,” after top Japanese officials attended and provided offerings to the Yasukuni Shrine during Sunday’s Grand Spring Festival ceremony.
