China urged certain U.S. lawmakers to stop sending wrong signals to the separatist forces in Taiwan or playing the “Taiwan card” to interfere in China’s internal affairs, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Monday.
Mao made the remarks at a regular press briefing in Beijing while commenting on U.S. lawmaker Michael McCaul’s visit to Taiwan and his remarks about arms sales to Taiwan.
