China’s independently developed AG600 large amphibious aircraft has received its type certificate from the Civil Aviation Administration of China in Beijing, marking its official approval for market entry. Designed for missions such as firefighting and maritime search and rescue, the AG600 can operate across diverse terrain, including water. It is the world’s largest civil amphibious aircraft by takeoff weight.
