Cleanup of roads and power restoration work was underway in several tornado-hit towns in south China’s Guangzhou City, one day after extreme weather killed five and injured 33 others. Rescuers removed the downed trees and rubble from the collapsed buildings. Telecommunication workers were also dispatched to restore communication services.
