Rescue workers have ended their search for survivors after a nightclub collapsed in the Dominican Republic capital Santo Domingo on Tuesday, killing at least 218 people and injuring more than 150 others.
Families had gathered outside the wreckage of the Jet Set club, anxious for information about their missing relatives, but authorities have now switched to a recovery operation to exhume the dead.
Between 500 and 1,000 guests were inside the popular venue attending a concert by merengue singer Rubby Pérez when the roof collapsed.
