On 24 February, it will be two years since Russia invaded Ukraine in its so-called “special military operation”.

Since then, Russia’s war has brought death and destruction to Ukraine, with the Russian military suffering huge losses, too.

Russian towns, like Ukrainian towns and cities, have been shelled and come under drone-attack.
The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russia’s president for alleged war crimes.
And now, Vladimir Putin’s most vocal critic, Alexei Navalny, is dead.
