Chinese automobile manufacturer Chery opens the core laboratories of its Longshan Test Center to the public for the first time. Through extreme environment simulation tests in extremely cold conditions, minus 40 degrees Celsius, and high temperatures, 60 degrees Celsius, it showcases the stable performance of the hybrid system under extreme conditions. Yin Tongyue, chairman of Chery Holding Group, personally explains the fifth-generation hybrid engine technology, which has reached industry-leading thermal efficiency and boasts a Clear Drive Management hybrid technology that enables the “perfect coordination between the electric motor and the engine.” The event unveils the auto manufacturer’s “China Hybrid intelligent leading the world” strategy and open-source plan, demonstrating Chery’s ambition to promote sharing industry technologies and accelerate the layout of the global hybrid market.
