A press conference is being held in south China’s Guangzhou City on the ship crash on Thursday morning.
The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m., when a container ship hit the pier on Lixinsha Bridge in Nansha District. Two vehicles plunged into the river and the others fell onto the vessel, a preliminary investigation has found.
