A magnitude-7.1 earthquake jolted the southern Japanese prefecture of Miyazaki on Thursday. Japan issued a tsunami warning after the quake and then lifted it for southwestern regions with the exception of Miyazaki, according to NHK. A Japanese official said that there have been no reports of any abnormalities at nuclear power plants.
