As the world watched the conflict intensify in Gaza, students in the United States protested the military action, calling for divestment from Israel and an immediate ceasefire. These demands were met not by compromise, but by police crackdowns. The Antisemitism Awareness Act, recently passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, is drawing criticism from both sides of the aisle. Is the Act really aimed at addressing antisemitism as it says?
