Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the Peruvian capital, Lima, on Thursday for the 31st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting and a state visit.
During his journey from the airport to his hotel, President Xi was warmly welcomed by overseas Chinese, representatives from Chinese-funded companies, international students and local residents. Lining both sides of the road, they waved Chinese and Peruvian flags, expressing their enthusiastic welcome for President Xi’s visit.
