As of 5:00 p.m. on January 7, emergency repairs have restored single-lane traffic to five roads in Dingri County, Xigaze City, in southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, following a magnitude-6.8 earthquake.
Local transport authorities have deployed 474 personnel and 394 machines to ensure road access in the affected areas.
