Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena on March 27 in Beijing. In this edition of Leaders Talk, China Media Group’s Zou Yun sat down with Gunawardena. In this interview, he said that China and Sri Lanka have been close friends since the signing of the Rubber-Rice Pact in 1952, and now the two countries aim to further improve their economic cooperation by jointly building the Belt and Road.
