The sound of an explosion has reportedly been heard near the central Iranian city of Isfahan, the reason behind which is yet to be known.
Fars News Agency carried the report on Friday, citing locals in the province’s city of Qahjavarestan, which is located 22 kilometers (13 miles) away from Isfahan.
Various Iranian media outlets, meanwhile, reported that the situation was normal in the province of the same name, adding that no explosion had taken place on the ground there.
