West Virginia’s Independent Sen. Joe Manchin said he will not be seeking the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination. CNN has previously reported Manchin, a former Democrat, was considering re-registering as a Democrat to throw his hat in the ring for the party’s nomination. However, in an interview with CBS News, Manchin said he would not be a candidate for the presidential ticket.
