The 46th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO opened on July 21 in the Indian capital New Delhi, and will last until July 31. The committee will evaluate the condition of 124 locations already on UNESCO’s List, as well as 27 nominations for additions of cultural and natural sites.
